Little Hearts House is a local, family run business, founded to provide children with a warm, personal touch in a calm, homely environment.

After having our daughter 21 months ago, we wanted to utilise our experience working with large scale nurseries and incorporate the Hygee approach. First beginning our roots with childminding at Barnston House and now expanding to Stansted House.

The Hygee approach underpins our foundation. We have created something different: small ratios, meaningful relationships and childcare that puts children first. Today, as a nursery, our focus remains the same — connection, emotional security and high-quality care every day.

After working in busy nursery settings, we wanted to do things differently — calmer spaces, smaller ratios and real focus on wellbeing, connection and care.

Today, Little Hearts House has grown into a nursery… but our heart and values remain exactly the same:
